Netflix Actor | 5th Dan Black Belt | U.S. National Champion
Master Brandon H. Lee is the younger son of Grand Master Yong Hyeok Lee, and began his Taekwondo journey at just 3 years old at Lee’s Champion Taekwondo Academy. A gifted martial artist and dynamic performer, Brandon blends athletic precision with charisma — both on the mat and on screen.
He holds a 5th Degree Black Belt from the World Taekwondo Federation and has earned numerous national and international titles, including:
1st Place – 2019 USA Taekwondo National Championships (World Class Freestyle Poomsae)
2019 U.S. National Taekwondo Poomsae Team Member
1st Place – Chosun University Presidential International Taekwondo Championship (2017)
1st Place – World Taekwondo Cultural Expo
1st Place – ATU National Taekwondo Championship
Brandon studied Sports Science at the University of Minnesota Duluth, building a foundation in performance and movement science that fuels both his martial arts and his acting.
He is now based in Hollywood and is best known for his breakout role as “Kwon” in Netflix’s Cobra Kai Season 6. Despite his busy career in the entertainment industry, Brandon remains deeply connected to his roots. He continues to visit LCTA for special events, serving as a role model and mentor to the next generation of students.
Thank you for the great program that you have and all the encouragement and training that you have provided. I know these skills through his life.
All the very best,
Shome family
Our daughter loves coming every week! She is learning a ton and burning off steam as well. We've seen her start to learn discipline, patience, and coordination. We actively recommend it to other families.
